2 tbsp. sugar
2 slices onions
1 c. meat broth
Salt
1 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vinegar

Brown sugar in shortening, add onions, cook until tender. Add flour and brown slightly. Add broth, vinegar and salt. Cook until smooth.
