ORIENTAL CABBAGE SALAD 
1 lg. head cabbage, shredded
5 chopped green onions
2 packs Ramen chicken flavor soup mix
1 s. bag slivered almonds
1/2 c. butter

DRESSING:

1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. soy sauce

Brown in butter the noodles (broken up) from the soup mix and the almonds. Drain and cool on paper towel. Set aside until just before serving.

Mix cabbage and onion. Put dressing ingredients in blender for 15 seconds. Pour over cabbage and onion; mix well. Chill for 2 hours or more. Before serving, add browned noodles and almonds. Toss and serve immediately.
