GOOEY BUTTER CAKE 
1 (17 oz.) pkg. pound cake (Dromedary)
2 sticks butter, room temp.
1 c. chopped nuts
1 lg. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar, minus 1 c.
4 eggs

Cream butter, add pound cake, mix and blend. Add 2 eggs and mix well. Spread evenly in a 13"x9" pan. Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add 2 eggs and mix well. Add vanilla and blend. Reserve 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Add the remaining sugar and mix well. Pour evenly over batter. Sprinkle top evenly with chopped nuts. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until cake pulls from sides of pan. Cool. Dust lightly with remaining powdered sugar.
