MICROWAVE STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
8 oz. fresh mushrooms
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. chopped green onion
2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. sour cream
Dash salt and pepper

Remove stems from mushrooms and set caps aside. Finely chop stems. In small bowl, combine chopped stems, butter and green onion and microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until stems are tender.

Stir in remaining ingredients except caps. Spoon filling into caps. Place on a plate and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes until hot (turn plate once).

WALNUT-STUFFED MUSHROOMS: Same recipe only add 1/3 cup chopped walnuts and dash of thyme.

CHEESE-STUFFED MUSHROOMS: Same recipe except substitute 2 tbsp. shredded Cheddar cheese for the sour cream.

Serves 6-8. Total cooking time, 4 1/2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
