MAMA'S ICE CREAM 
CUSTARD:

4 eggs
4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour

Add to milk. Cook slowly until thick.

4-5 qt. milk (part cream, if you want)
3 tbsp. vanilla

Cook custard. Cool. Add vanilla and enough milk to fill 1 1/2 gallon freezer to freezing line.

Strawberry: Omit vanilla. Add 1-2 quarts crushed strawberries and fill to line with milk.

Peach: Substitute 1 tablespoon almond for vanilla. Add 1-2 quarts crushed peaches and fill to line with milk.

Peppermint: Omit vanilla. Add 8-10 ounces melted peppermint candy and a few drops of red food coloring. Fill to line with milk.
