THUMB PRINT COOKIE 
1 c. butter
1 egg & 1 egg yolk
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
1 egg white, slightly beaten
1 c. chopped nuts

Beat butter, sugar, egg and yolk, salt, and flavoring until fluffy. Add flour and mix. Make 1 teaspoon dough into ball and dip in egg white and roll in nuts. Place on cookie sheet and press with thumb. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
