GREEN APPLE CAKE 
4 lg. green apples
1 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. salad oil
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. chopped pecans

Peel and slice apples. Add 1 cup of chopped nuts. Set aside. Beat until foamy salad oil, eggs and vanilla.

Mix together sugar, flour, soda and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Mix apples and nuts. Bake in floured pan 10x15x2 at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Flour mixture will be thick until apples are added.

Frosting: Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Spread frosting on cooled cake.
