FROSTED GRAHAM CRACKER BARS 
30 graham crackers
2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 c. pecans
1 c. graham cracker crumbs (this will take 15 crackers also)

METHOD: Line bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan with whole graham crackers (15). Next combine butter, sugar, milk and egg. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a GOOD boil. Remove from heat and add nuts, coconut and crumbs. Spread this mixture over the crackers in the pan. Top with another layer of crackers (15). Spread with the following frosting and refrigerate 24 hours. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares. Makes 5 dozen.

FROSTING:

1/2 to 1 stick soft butter
6 tbsp. lite cream or milk
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans

Combine butter, sugar, cream and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Frost top of bars and sprinkle with finely chopped pecans. Use good quality of cracker for best results.
