MOLASSES CANDY 
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. dark molasses
1/2 c. vinegar

Put in large pot and bring to boil about 1/2 hour. Take a tablespoon and put in a cup of cold water to form a ball. When it hardens in cold water, add 3 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla to pot. Butter muffin pans and pour mixture in pans. Set aside to cool.
