BROWN RICE 
1 can French onion soup
1 can consomme soup
1 c. rice - long grain white rice or 3/4 white rice/1/4 wild rice or your own combination
1/2 stick butter

Mix soups and rice. Put in a greased baking pan. Sprinkle on 1/2 cup slivered almonds. Dot with butter. You can adjust the amount of butter according to your own taste. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves about 8.
