1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. M&M'S®

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture, blending well. Stir in M&M'S®. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate with more M&M'S®. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown. M&M'S® will crack.
