MINCEMEAT COOKIES 
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1 pkg. (9 oz.) mincemeat, condensed

Mix together flour, salt and soda. Cream shortening; add sugar, gradually cream together until fluffy, add beaten eggs. Beat until smooth. Break mincemeat into small pieces and add to creamed mixture. Add flour and mix well.

Drop dough by teaspoonsful 2 inches apart on greased pan. Bake in moderate hot oven (375 degrees) about 12 minutes. Makes about 48 cookies, 3 inches in diameter. They are delicious.
