1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. oil
1 3/4-2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. chopped apples (or 1 can Comstock pie apples - not filling)
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix together first 3 ingredients. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat after each addition. Add vanilla. Mix and sift dry ingredients; add flour mixture to oil mixture and beat well. Add chopped apples (or pie apples) and chopped nuts.

Bake in a tube or Bundt pan, greased and floured, for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes in 350 degree oven.
