PLAIN DOUGHNUTS 
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. fat
1 c. sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt

Beat the eggs and add the milk, vinegar and fat. Stir into dry ingredients which have been sifted together, and work gently into a soft ball. Turn out on floured board, knead gently. Roll and cut out doughnuts and fry in deep fat. Drain on absorbent paper.
