WALLY'S PARTY MEAT BALLS | |
2 lbs. ground hamburger 1 c. packaged corn flake crumbs 1/3 c. dried parsley flakes 2 eggs 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/3 c. catsup 2 tbsp. instant minced onion 1 can (16 oz.) jellied cranberry sauce 1 bottle (12 oz.) chili sauce 2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar 1 tbsp. fresh or bottled lemon juice Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the beef, corn flake crumbs, parsley flakes, eggs, soy sauce, pepper, garlic powder, catsup and minced onion. Blend well. Form the mixture into small meat balls about the size of walnuts. Arrange meatballs in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch pan. In a medium sized saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice. Cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture is smooth and cranberry sauce is melted. Pour over the meat balls. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Serve in chafing dish with toothpicks. About 60 meat balls. |
