SOUTH OF THE BORDER SUPPER 
1 lb. browned hamburger
1/4 c. browned chopped onions
1 (15 oz.) can of refried beans
1 (8 oz.) can of tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can of chopped green chilies
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. of taco seasoning
6 (8 inch) flour tortillas, halved
2 (8 oz.) c. of shredded Cheddar cheese

Hamburger and onions browned and drain fat. Add beans, sauce, chiles and seasoning. Layer half the tortillas on bottom of baking dish. Spread half of meat mixture over and sprinkle half the cheese.

Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or microwave on high for 16 to 18 minutes. Turn 3 to 4 times during cooking. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. If you like Mexican food you will love this!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
