LORRIE'S BEST COLD BROCCOLI
SALAD
 
This salad is even better the next day after it "marinates" for a while!

3 broccoli crowns (or 3 cups flowerets), cut into bite sized pieces
1 lb. bacon, fried crisp then crumbled
1 medium onion, diced
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cheddar cheese (shredded)

Prepare bacon and crumble. Prepare broccoli (chop and discard stalks). Chop onion.

In a bowl mix all ingredients together. Prepare dressing.

DRESSING:

1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp. white or cider vinegar
1 cup Miracle Whip (NOT mayonnaise - trust me!)

Mix the sugar and vinegar together until it is not "grainy". Add Miracle Whip and stir until mixed. Pour dressing over broccoli and refrigerate.
