BBQ RIBS 
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 c. catsup
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 c. water
4 lbs. spareribs

Brown onions in oil. Add catsup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings and water. Simmer 20 minutes. Meanwhile, place ribs in 9 x 13 inch pan in oven, uncovered at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 degrees and pour sauce over ribs. Bake 1 hour, basting frequently.
