JOHNSON CITY GRITS 
2 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. grits
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 roll garlic cheese
1/2 stick butter
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
Dash Tabasco sauce

Cook water, grits, and salt as directed on package. Add butter and cheese; stir until both are melted. Beat egg; add to milk. Add this to grits. Add Tabasco sauce; stir.

Pour into buttered casserole.

TOPPING:

1 c. corn flakes, crushed
Dash paprika

Cover mixture in casserole with corn flakes and paprika. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

VARIATIONS: Use sharp cheddar cheese in place of garlic cheese.
