CHEESE ONION PIE 
9" pie crust
1/2 lb. bacon, cubed
1-2 onions, thinly sliced
5 oz. Swiss or Gruyere cheese, grated
2 eggs
1 c. milk
Nutmeg
Salt

Line pie pan with pastry and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Fry bacon cubes, add onions and simmer until tender but not brown. Put into pie crust and cover with cheese.

Beat eggs and milk together. Add seasonings and pour over ingredients in pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
