ONION AND CHEESE PIE 
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
1 lg. onion, sliced
1/2 recipe of pie crust
2 tbsp. flour
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. heavy cream
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. salt
Black pepper

Roll pie crust 1/8 inch thick and line 10 inch pie plate with it. Flute the edges of the crust. Mix cheese thoroughly with flour and spread in bottom of pie shell. Separate onion slices into rings and arrange rings on cheese mixture. Beat eggs lightly. Beat in cream, milk, curry powder, nutmeg, 2 drops Tabasco, salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture over cheese and onion rings. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 45 minutes. Serves 6.
