BREAD 'N BUTTER PICKLES 
3 cucumbers, unpeeled and sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. celery seed

Combine first 3 ingredients; let stand 1 hour and drain. Combine last 3 ingredients; pour over onion and cucumbers. Place in a covered container in refrigerator. It will be ready to eat in one day.

NOTE: This recipe will keep for up to 2 months in a tightly covered glass or plastic container.
