MOM'S HERB BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. cottage cheese (lukewarm)
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. dillweed
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 unbeaten egg
2 1/2 - 3 1/2 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Cream butter and sugar in bowl. Add dill, onion, salt, soda and stir in egg. Then add cottage cheese and yeast. Add flour to make stiff dough. Let rise until double. Knead down and put in well greased bread pan. Let rise until light, about 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Brush with butter and sprinkle with salt after baking.
