MERINGUE DESSERT 
3 egg whites, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts
20 Ritz crackers, rolled fine
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Keeps for days in refrigerator. Beat egg whites gradually, adding sugar. Fold in crackers, nuts, baking powder and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Cool. Let set 3 hours in refrigerator before serving.

Top serving pieces with whip cream or ice cream and strawberries or chocolate sauce or favorite topping.
