BANANA NUT CAKE | |
2 c. sugar 3/4 c. butter 3 eggs 1 c. sour milk 1 tsp. baking soda 3 c. flour 1/3 tsp. cloves 1 c. bananas 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 c. nuts 1 tsp. cinnamon Pinch of salt Cream together sugar, butter and eggs. Add sour milk, with soda, flour, cloves, bananas, nutmeg, nuts, cinnamon and salt. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. BANANA NUT FROSTING: 1/4 lb. butter 1 lb. powdered sugar 2 ripe bananas 1 c. chopped pecans Mix together and spread on cooled cake. |
