2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
1 c. Miracle Whip
2 tsp. vanilla

Grease and flour pan. Put all in large bowl. You can stir dry ingredients together first if you wish, then add rest. This cake mixes easily by hand. Bake about 30 minutes at 350 degree oven; 325 degrees if you use glass dish.

EASY ICING:

Cook 1/2 cup milk with 2 tbsp. of flour until thick; cool. Put 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup shortening in bowl. Add thickened milk to sugar and shortening. Beat with mixer until thick and fluffy. Can add 1 tsp. vanilla if you like.
