CHOCOLATE ICE BOX CAKE 
2 cakes, German sweet chocolate
6 eggs, beaten separately
3 tbsp. granulated sugar, in egg whites
3 tbsp. granulated sugar, in egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. boiling water in melted chocolate, before adding egg yolks
2 boxes National Biscuit Social tea wafers

Melt 2 cakes, German sweet chocolate. Add beaten yolks and the 3 tablespoons boiling water. (Put water in first, then chocolate, then yolks.) Remember sugar. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and granulated sugar (3 tablespoons). Gently fold chocolate into whites. Line loaf tin with waxed paper or foil. Layer of wafer first, then alternate chocolate mixture and wafers, ending with wafers on top. cover with waxed paper. Let set in refrigerator 24 to 48 hours. Remove paper, invert pan and cake. Cover top and sides with sweetened whipped cream. Good luck!
