1 lb. lard 5 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder Mix well with pastry cutter or fork. Beat 1 egg in measuring cup add 1 tablespoon vinegar fill with ice water to top of one cup container. Pour this over dry ingredients blend well with for or pastry cutter. Chill 1 hour. Roll this into one ball and after it has chilled cut it into 4 equal sections. Wrap each in plastic and aluminum foil then freeze till it is needed. Each section makes one complete pie. * I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Gen. 9:13 |
