BUTTER DIPS 
1/3 c. butter (for pan)
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Melt butter in 13x9 inch pan in oven. Remove from oven when butter is melted. Sift together dry ingredients. Add milk and stir just until blended. Knead lightly on a floured board until dough holds together.

Roll out into a 1/2 inch thick 8x12 inch rectangle. Cut in half lengthwise and then crosswise into 1 inch strips. Dip both sides of strips in melted butter in pan and place in 2 rows down length of pan. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
