MARINATED ROAST 
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. salad oil
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. vinegar
3 to 4 lbs. beef roast
1 c. Dr. Pepper
2 tbsp. catsup
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. soy sauce

To Marinate:

Saute garlic in oil. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over roast. Bake 2 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Gently turn several times during cooking.

Serves 6 to 8. Reheat slivered roast in marinade.
