HOT MILK CAKE 
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

Place milk and butter in 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup and microwave 2 minutes on high (or scald milk in saucepan to melt butter). Beat eggs; add sugar and beat until smooth. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add to sugar/egg mixture by thirds, alternating with hot milk/butter. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla. Batter will be thin. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased bundt cake or tube pan for 50 to 55 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
