VELVET POUND CAKE | |
3 sticks butter 1 lb. box powdered sugar 6 eggs 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon flavoring Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to sugar mixture. Add flavorings. Pour into greased and floured cake pan (tube). Bake at 325 degrees for one hour 30 minutes. |
