MICHELE'S CHILI CON CARNE 
1 tbsp. ground cumin
2-3 lb. London broil, diced bite-size
1/4-1/2 lb. diced bacon
3 yellow onions, peeled & chopped
4 garlic cloves
1 green bell pepper, chopped
4-6 jalapeno peppers, seeded & chopped
4-6 tbsp. chili powder
2 cans (28 oz.) stewed tomatoes
Salt & pepper to taste
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

Heat a large kettle and saute the bacon until clear. Add the diced meat and brown, over high heat along with the onions, garlic and peppers. When the meat is brown and the onions clear, add the remaining ingredients. Simmer for several hours and correct the seasoning. Serve in large bowls topped with Cheddar cheese, sour cream and/or diced onions. Enjoy.
