MOSTACCIOLI | |
1/2 c. peppers 1/2 c. onions 1/2 lb. hamburger, browned 1 lb. can tomatoes 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 bay leaf 1/2 lb. mostaccioli or macaroni 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese Parmesan cheese Saute peppers and onions in a little oil. Add browned hamburger, tomatoes, tomato paste, water, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Simmer. While this is cooking boil water and cook mostaccioli. Cut cheese into slices. In two quart casserole arrange layers of noodles, meat mixture and cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. |
