MOSTACCIOLI 
1/2 lb. Mostaccioli noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 whole can (1 lb.) tomatoes
1 whole (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1 whole bay leaf
Pinch salt and pepper to taste
1 c. grated cheddar or colby cheese
1 c. Mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, or to taste

Cook mostaccioli noodles to the package direction. Drain well. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, brown ground beef with green pepper and onion. Remove excessive grease. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, bay leaf and salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes. Discard bay leaf after simmering.

Combine Mozzarella and cheddar cheese. In a 2 quart casserole, place a layer of meat, then combined cheese, then noodle. Then repeat for two more layers. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 6 servings.
