SWISS GREEN BEANS 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. minced onion
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. dairy sour cream
4 c. French cut green beans, cooked and drained (2 cans)
2 c (1/2 lb.) grated Swiss cheese
1/2 c. corn flakes or bread crumbs, mixed with 2 tbsp. melted butter

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in sauce pan. Saute' onion until clear. Add flour, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir in sour cream and stir until smooth. Increase heat to medium and cook until sauce is bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Fold green beans into sour cream sauce; spread in greased 10 x 6 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle cheese evenly over green beans mixture. Top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated. Serves 6.
