DROP APPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 apples, diced
Milk

Combine sugar, butter and water; boil for three minutes. Put in pan. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together. Add apples. Mix thoroughly and add enough milk to make a stiff dough. Drop in hot syrup and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
