1 pkg. (two layer size) devil's food cake mix 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 3 c. thawed Cool Whip Prepare 2 (9") cake layers as directed on package. Spoon one half cup Cool Whip topping in 3" circle in center of one cake layer on plate. Spoon one cup Cool Whip around top edge of layer. Spoon one half of pie filling between circle and border. Place second cake layer on top. Spoon 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip around top edge. Spoon remaining pie filling in center. Chill. Refrigerate left over cake. |
