1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. buttermilk

Mix all at once. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
