2 c. brown sugar
2 egg whites
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil sugar and water to hard ball stage. Beat whites until stiff. Add syrup slowly to egg whites, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and beat until it holds its shape when dropped from a spoon. Drop onto wax paper and let cool. Do not make this on a rainy or damp day.
