BANANA CRUNCH CAKE 
2/3 c. butter
3 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

CRUNCHY TOPPING:

2 tbsp. milk
1/3 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 1/2 oz. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix topping ingredients well.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and bananas, beat well. Add combined dry ingredients to cream mixture alternate with buttermilk. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Spread Crunch Topping over when warm. Broil until bubbly and golden brown.
