HOMEMADE TORTILLAS | |
Makes 10 to 15 tortillas, depending on how big you want them. Combine: 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder Cut in 1 tablespoon shortening. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup warm water. Form dough into balls and roll out thin and fry in skillet without any oil for 1 to 2 minutes for each side just until slightly brown. This recipe can be doubled. |
