BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground chuck
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 med. can mushrooms
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Garlic powder
1 tub sour cream
3/4 lg. pkg. noodles, cooked
2 lbs. butter
Little salt
4 slices American cheese to cover top

Saute onions and mushrooms in a skillet and add to the browned, drained ground beef. Add tomato sauce and garlic and salt to taste. Simmer 20 minutes. Add sour cream to sauce and layer in a dish - noodles, sauce; cook 15 minutes in 350 degree oven. Top with cheese and bake until cheese melts.
