FRESH PEAR OR APPLE CAKE 
STEP I:

4 c. fresh fruit (grated)
2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 c. vegetable oil
3 beaten eggs

Stir often. Mix all this together and let this stand for 1 hour.

STEP II:

3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix flour mixture to fruit. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Have eggs at room temperature. Grate the fresh fruit. Do not use a mixer. Stir by hand until blend. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done test with toothpick.
