COCONUT BALLS 
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. corn syrup
2/3 c. canned milk
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut

Bring sugar, syrup, milk and butter to a boil over medium heat. Turn on low, cover and cook 2 minutes. Then uncover and cook to soft ball stage. Add coconut and vanilla. Stir until thickened and drop on waxed paper.
