PRETZEL DESSERT 
2 c. crushed pretzels
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. melted butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (3 oz.) strawberry Jello
1 qt. strawberries
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 c. cold water

Combine pretzels, sugar and butter. Mix and pat into 9x12 or 10x13 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.

Combine cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Chill 3 hours.

Cut up strawberries and add 1/2 cup sugar. Mix Jello with hot water, then add cold water. Add to strawberries. Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until Jello sets.

May also be made with fresh peaches and peach Jello.
