SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. green pepper
1 (28 oz.) stewed tomatoes
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 lg. onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 bay leaf, crumbled
1 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
2 tsp. sugar
Mushrooms

Brown meat; add onion, garlic, green pepper and saute with meat. Add mushrooms and tomatoes. Cook low heat 1 hour. Boil spaghetti and drain. Mix all together. Bake 1/2 hour covered in greased casserole. Stir well. Add Parmesan and bake 1/2 hour more.
