SAUERKRAUT HOT DISH 
1 lb. hamburger
2 tbsp. sliced green onion
2 c. sauerkraut
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
4 potatoes
4 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper

Pare and cook potatoes. Meanwhile, combine sauerkraut and onion. Add soup; place in 2 quart casserole. Brown hamburger; drain. Spoon over sauerkraut. Drain potatoes; mash with milk, butter, salt and pepper. Spread over hamburger; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned.
