FRENCH APPLE PIE 
10" baked pastry shell
5 c. sliced apples (about 5 med.)
2/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. lemon juice

STREUSEL TOPPING:

1 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter

1. Prepare and cook pastry shell in glass pie plate as directed.

2. Combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and lemon juice. Arrange in pie shell.

3. Combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon for topping; cut in butter until crumbly. Spoon evenly over apples.

4. Microwave, uncovered, 8-10 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or cool, plain or with ice cream.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
