MILKLESS, EGGLESS, BUTTERLESS
CAKE
 
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. Crisco
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Boil hard for 3 minutes. Set aside and cool.

Add: 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt

Pour batter into a 9x13 greased and floured baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Ice with powdered sugar icing.
